01
Locate the Cleanout
We find your exterior cleanout, or pull the toilet if there is not one, and feed the hose into the main line. If the cleanout is buried, we dig it out by hand and leave it accessible for next time. This step takes 10-15 minutes on a typical Montebello home.
02
Camera Inspection
Before any water goes in, we push a sewer camera down the line to see what we are dealing with. Roots, grease, scale, and broken pipe all look different on camera, and the footage tells us which nozzle and pressure setting to use. You watch the monitor with us.
03
Hydro Jetting
We feed the high-pressure hose in and run the jetting nozzle through the blockage at 3,000-4,000 PSI. The forward jets cut and the rear jets flush debris back toward the cleanout. A typical residential lateral takes 45-90 minutes to clear completely.
04
Debris Flush
Once the line is open, we flush the loosened roots, grease, and scale out to the city main. We then run water through every fixture in the house to confirm flow. If anything still drains slow, we know the blockage was not fully removed and we go back in.
05
Post-Jetting Camera Check
We run the camera one more time to verify the pipe wall is clean and to check for damage the cleaning may have revealed. You get a copy of the footage. If we see a crack or offset joint, we tell you what a pipe patch would cost before we pack up.
